SWING TECHNOLOGY

Lessons at the Next Level

USING TODAY'S TECHNOLOGY TO SHOOT LOWER SCORES TOMORROW.

Even as experienced and as trained as our PGA staff is, sometimes it helps to rely on the advancements in the game of golf. These advancements have come in the way of lesson and club fitting software. At the Matt Swanson School of Golf, we work hard to bring the latest software available on the market in house, to ensure our clients get the best information possible in regards to correcting their swing or to performing a club fitting.

As you can also see in the club fitting section of the site, as we work with students during a club fitting, we use the Vector Launch Monitor. Founded in 1987 by a group of golfers who envisioned a method to dramatically improve and change the way golfers practice, they conceived an idea of an automated system that would provide instantaneous feedback to the golfer on the precise distance and accuracy of golf shots on the practice range. It’s this software that we currently use during your club fitting so you have the right equipment for your swing.

If you have already been fitted by our professional staff or want to go directly into a private or group lesson, we then begin to use two of the most advanced software systems in the sport, one for the full swing, and one for putting.

K-Vest Golf provides a 3-D, virtual, image of your golf swing. This inside look into your swing helps our teachers even further in providing your direction during your lesson.

Perfect for indoor facilities, driving ranges, and on-course instruction, K-VEST is a completely mobile, easy to use, interactive system that combines video analysis, 3-D analysis, and real-time feedback in one complete package. Unlike other video systems, K-VEST uses 3 wireless sensors to provide teachers with a more accurate swing analysis and students with real-time visual and auditory feedback designed to help them see, hear, and feel the instruction.

For putting, the Matt Swanson School of Golf has partnered with the creators of the TOMI putting system. Even in this day and age, Tomi's electronics are a marvel.

In micro-seconds the system captures and times the motions of the putter in three-dimensional space, from backstroke to follow-through, then groups the resultant data into feedback sets for each of the key putting stroke measures, and displays the results on our personal computer in a series of high resolution, easy-to-understand charts and graphs.

These three programs are currently available to you at the Matt Swanson School of Golf. Call 713-413-4484 today to set a time to see them for yourself. You may also hit visit this dropdown menu to be directed to each website from the three different companies.
